- I just finished reading Love on the Inside by Marie Bostwick. I must say this time Marie knocked it out of the park with this book. Marie has a way of molding her characters that is so insightful to the reader. Perhaps, the reason the story resonated with me like Rick my husband lost his job. He too is trying to find a new direction. Mandy reminded me of my students with behavioral issues. This story could easily be a series after I finished reading the book I realized I want to know what happens to David, Mandy, McKenzie, and Kate.
- I was saving this latest book to read during my recovery from knee replacement surgery. The plan was to read it slowly and savor.......well once again the story Marie has woven pulled me in and wouldn't let me go!
With twists & turns I didn't see coming I delighted in every page !
Marie gives us a peek at a marriage at a crossroads as life sends roadblocks and changes. Familar to anyone who has been blessed with many decades of sharing a life is that the marriage you had in your 20's is not the same as the one you have now!!
Do yourself a favor & read this book it is about making the best out of what you have and helping others along the way! - I always think I’m going to read Marie’s books slowly and really savor them. But I just can’t do it! I have to read just one more chapter and before I know it the story is over. This time we get to learn a little bit about Olympia, WA all while following Hope’s journey to help women who are incarcerated. There’s a good dose of quilting, too. And of course Marie always gives us a thought provoking story with a happy ending.
- Marie’s books are always great reads. I usually pre-order them so I’ll have them right away. I’ve never been disappointed. I got acquainted with her when reading the Cobblestone Court series and have never looked back. I always feel I can picture the characters and feel what they are feeling. She’s a wonderful writer, in my opinion.
